The “Globus award – Via dei Corti for land enhancement” was born in 2015 to recognize and promote the best short films that in the last calendar year have better enhance the Sicilian territory.
After seeing meaningful images, the Festival will award the independent productions able to capture the incredible beauties of Sicily; able to focus the attention on the preservation of traditions; and able to contribute to human, social and civil development of people and their places.
The award, sponsored by Globus Television which always aspire to the enhancement of Sicily in all its aspects, wants to be an encouragement for those who demonstrate commitment to the development and the preservation of cultural and artistic Sicilian heritage, through the promotion and respect of environment, identity and local cultures.
